Is there anything like (noob alert) missing a pixel completely and backlight shining through? Or is it possible that a cluster of pixel is missing at the same spot - maybe two? I do not want to paint a overblown picture - you can kinda see it starting from a light grey backdrop to pretty prominent on a dark backdrop.
A stuck pixel is always on in some form, whether it be the red, blue, green, or all three subpixels (which gives the white color) always on. I highly doubt it is a missing pixel with backlight showing through.

You can always give it some time to see if running the stuck pixel program for a couple hours or overnight will help (make sure it doesn't go to screensaver!), but just make sure you give yourself enough time to return it for a new one.

I am not sure if this is just my perception...but I fired my computer and I could not see the stuck pixel. I did one of those pixel test by applying green, red, black, white backdrops one at a time and just could not find it ! and then gradually it appeared - that sucker....It is most prominent on a green backdrop. Somewhat prominient on black. Hardly visible in red and cant see it on white or blue.

I am planning to run the Jfix program overnight tonight. I went ahead and requested an RMA regardless just to get that process going.
