Thread Starter
This post goes out to only people who own the Biostar 890FX Motherboard.. I am curious, to wonder what is everyone's highest NB OC and what Voltages did you use.

*EDIT* I just woke up sorry about posting this in the CPU section lol.

The only NB you can overclock is on your chip... Probably going to depend more on the chip than the board.

When I had my AMD, I ran it at 3200. I didn't try anymore as benchmarks show that improvements diminish after 3000. As for voltage, I honestly can't remember.

2800-3000 1.3-1.35v cpu-nb should be the sweet spot

I threw 1.36 in for my NB and that worked well. The NB voltage is used for higher front bus frequencies. The CPU-NB is what you want for the frequency of the NB.

i forgot, whatever takes it to 3ghz.. lol.. i think it was x15, i only oc with multi cus i got black edition

im not sure a 955 c2 can do 3ghz nb though, it depends more on the chip than the mobo

either way, good luck, try up to 1.4v cpu-nb voltage first, if that doesn't work try 1.2v nb voltage, i wouldnt really go any higher though, if you cant get it stable with that much voltage it's most likely your chip
