OK...well I've been working on my water cooled project and seems like I'm behind like 4 bios revisions....the motherboard I'm working with is a DFI Lanparty DK 790FXB-M2RSH it's been obvioulsy ages since I flashed my bios, and so now I'm trying to re-figure it out, and the way it's tell me I have to flash my bios is with a flash drive and got to format it to boot to dos etc....is this right? I tried the EZ Flash, and it was like um no that's not going to work buddy....I'm running windows 7 64bit, and the EZ Flash is recommended for AMI bios, but I have an award bios....and non of the instructions say anything about windows 7.....just crap like if you are using windows xp 32 and 64bit use winflash, but if your using vista 32 and 64 bit you can't use winflash you have to use a usb stick....does that apply for the windows 7 guys also????

you need to make the USB a bootable drive, using some HP boot program, this will flash the drive to boot at startup. then you copy your bios to the USB and restart computer, hit F2 heaps and it will bring up boot options, select the USB

So....F2 does nothing for me at boot...it just keeps going, also tried to change boot priority, boot order, still nothing....I used the HP program to format the flash drive to bootable, copied the bios etc...and still nothing...thinking of not worrying with it, since it seems the revisions don't have anything to do with my processor.....or is there things in the bios revisions that help all processors they just don't list? I'm using a AMD 940 BE...
