How does option #3, the Scythe KM02, look then? According to Newegg, it has a fan speed range of 0-9990 RPM.

However I dont know if that shelf goes all the way through or not. I cant tell from the pics =( that would be really cool If I could find a way to mount that ontop of the case though.
It look as though the 140mm fan is right in the middle of the case:

Also, the shelf doesn't extend the whole length of the case, only the length of the PSU. This case seems very similar to yours (the dimesions are the same/it has the same 140mm fan at the top of the case), and one reviewer writes that his "Corsair h70 Cooler fits in nicely."

The H70 (unlike the H50) has a 140mm radiator, so it's made for 140mm fans.

In your case, you'd be better going with less RAM with lower timings than vice versa. I believe 4GB will be perfect for you.

Awesome!!!!! So now the final piece to the puzzle you just need to come to chicago and teach me how to do everything. Before this build I went all out and dropped over 2grand on pc parts and this monster build as you see in my profile that I would never really use. I had some serious buyers remorse when putting together this system for my friend as I am much happier with it and have a better understanding of what suits me.

On a plus side I was able to sell all of the parts that I bought for my other PC to another friend of mine (I lost out on shipping costs) but am able to order 2 of everything when we do this and save my self about 700.00 bucks and I think be all around happier in the end! So I will have 2 of what will soon be my "sig rig" but I am going to go the extra step and sleeve everything etc. To where my friend could care less and just wants it to work lol. So I am going to redo this damn list one last time! Get a Green light from you and some other people in the community and its time to mash the throttle.

(ps) The H70 will be able to reach down from the top of the case to the CPU with no problems still right? Should be about the same distance as it would if it was mounted on the exhaust? And I still might go with the gentle tyhpons. I just want to know they will move enough air before I do! youtube here I come.

Well this rocks =( Went to place my order yesterday and the case is sold out on new egg. Checked it again tonight preying it was a fluke, no luck. Wish I had enough money to fill the inside of the obsidian D =) <3 that thing lol. But now I am trying to find another case for around that price point and it's not happening. Probably going to have to get the step up model from the one I wanted and spend 70 more.
