Overclocking my i7-930 - goal 4.0

Thread Starter
I'm sitting at 48c right now at 3.8 mhz - my voltage is 1.26875 and I've changed nothing else. Ram is jacked up to 1900 mhz (ddr3 2000) I'm not sure what voltages I should be adjusting and such. It appears stable although I'm just playing Heroes of newerth and browsing the web.

Ok, I filled in some of my system stats. As far as CPUZ screen shots, I'm not sure how to do that lol.

Ok for a start you shouldn't be using many auto settings.

Your QPI link speed should be set to the lowest numerical value (not slowest)

Your uncorefrequency should be set to twice the frequency of your RAM

The most stable combination for multiplier and clock speed I have found was 21x191

RAM speed is fine as it is in my opinion, you could tighten the timings on it later.

I'm sure I've missed things, but that's a good place to start imo.

Hmm. What about things like QPI, CPU PLL, Ram, and bclock? I'll be out of class in about 2 hours then I'm going to try changing some stuff up.

Currently, My i7 core voltage is at 1.264. Multiplier is 20, bus is 190, QPI is 3419.
Ram freq is at 950.1, NB freq is 3800. Idle temp is 47C.
