Logitech = stay away. What's your budget?

Depends on how much of an audio junkie you are really. I have a pair of $30 speakers (Logitech S220) and I'm completely satisfied w/ the sound it puts out, while others would be ripping their eardrums out if they're forced to "endure" through it.

But for $150, I'd try for a 5.1 system myself.

You cannot get a decent 5.1 for $150. Realistically at least $400 really. Good quality 2.1 > crap quality 5.1.

For 150$ Id go with the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1

Thats what I did and Ive been VERY satisfied with it

This is true i had a pair of altecs that i got used for like 10 bucks and used for general computing. That way i was not putting time on my mains when i didn't need to.
