Have you done the vdroop pencil mod yet? You should also figure out a way to cool your Northbridge chip better.
My case has a very good airflow and I haven't seen any signs of overheating beyond the point of no return on that NB. Do you have any info on pencil mod? I have a terrible vdroop. In BIOS my Q6600 is showing the vcore of 1.5v and in windows it's 1.41-1.43v. It is very stable but if there is a way to improve anything I'll take it.

Woohoo! Good to see some 680i users still here. I still have my P5N32E-SLI running the "original" E6600 with 2x 8800GTX in SLI.

It's definitely no slouch even by today's standards.

I remember drooling over the Striker Extreme...cuz it had that damn LCD display and those monster heat sinks!
