BTW-Mass Effect 2 rocks....my favourite game in recent memory can't wait for ME3!!!!
Will have to give that a shot. I've had some issues with tearing (mostly when turning the camera quickly). Still experimenting with the nvidia control panel to find the sweet spot. I thought that since I have all this extra CPU time during the game (typically runs at like 52%) it would be helpful to pre-render as much as possible.

o...... lol

ME2 isn't as good as ME1, I think. It's still very good, and it's prettier, but I don't like what they did to the galaxy map, the level ups, and the weapons upgrades. It also pisses me off when I use an ability and ALL of my abilities go into cooldown.

You could pick up a HD4870 for about 100
HD5770 for about 100 or mabye a GTX460 768mb for about the same, mabye a little more.
If I was you I would go for a Nvidia GTX 460 1GB or ATI HD5850/HD6850.
If you hunt around you should be able to find a HD5850 for almost as low as the 460 and it has a good bit more grunt.
