[SOLVED] Install Windows7 on PC without Disk Drive or USB flashdrive.

Hi,

I just put together my sig rig but i haven't gotten the Blu-Ray drive yet and won't have it for a few weeks.

I want to install Windows 7 on it without using a disk drive, and I don't have a USB flashdrive large enough to put windows 7 on either so those two methods are out.

I have tried using my old IDE disk drive with a IDE to SATA adaptor on it but it doesn't show up in the BIOS.

I've even tried using the disk drive from a bricked Xbox 360, the machine recognized the drive but the drive wouldn't read the disk. frown.gif

I have a USB External HDD, would it be possible to install using that?

Or install from my laptop?

EDIT: I managed to install Windows 7 by booting from my External HDD.
