Which SD Card and RAM for my new netbook?

Thread Starter
I just got a netbook. Wanted to boost it a bit with the provided SD slot, but unclear as to which size and which specific card to buy...some cards that are labeled as Readyboost I see reviews that say it was too slow.

Also, do I just need any DD2-5300 laptop ram?

What model is it for the ram.

I've never tried readyboost on an SD card, but honestly usually the difference readyboost makes is unnoticable.

Well it's a netbook with a 5400rpm hard drive, so it certainly can't hurt it.

The Toshiba is an NB505

Regular DDR2 Sodimms will work

If you do get something for readyboost get a card thats Twice your installed ram so the entire page file will be on it.

Ok, got a suggestion for a 4GB SD Card fast enough to handle ready boost?
