Noob's RAID questions

Hey, asked about these a few days ago but had a couple more quick questions on RAID before I order anything. Please indulge my noob-ishness.

1. My current setup has my OS and programs on my SSD with my Music, Videos and Games on my storage drive (which I'd be swapping out for a RAID) If I installed a RAID, I shouldn't need to reinstall Windows, right? I can set it all up from BIOS and Device Manager? Not that it's a huge deal if I do, but I'd rather save myself the work.

2. I think I've seen that this is possible, but you can create a single partition from a RAID, right? I currently have OS as C: Storage as D: and don't really want the hassle of another partition to keep track of.

3. I also currently backup everyday to an external drive and will soon by installing either Mozy or Crashplan (researching the two right now), so redundancy isn't that important to me, so I'll probably be using RAID 0 so I can get the fastest speeds/more storage space. But would stripping create any problems for my daily backup? I'm not very familiar on how stripping works, but it seems if a file is split between two drives (say a video or album) it'd be harder to grab it and use on a different machine. Thoughts?

1. Not if you perfectly copy everything over to the array. If you wipe the storage HDD you might need to to get rid of references to deleted files etc.
2. Of course, it behaves like a regular drive and all the magic is at the hardware level.
3. It works like a regular HDD, you can back up from and to it if you want.
