Screen freeze and BsOD when playing games

Thread Starter
for the last month i've been having a lot of crashes and BsOD's
this week i've only got 3 BsOD, but a lot of Screen freezes where everythin stopped answering. The screen either freezes or i get vertical stripes. my speakers also make the drumroll sound.
the 3 BsOD's ive got this week is allcaused by atikmdag.sys and ntoskrnl.exe
i've got 2 page fault in nonpage area before i reinstalled my graphics drivers and 1 system service exception afterwards. when i get a BsOD and the pc restarts, the screen normally freezes before it even begins to load windows.
in that case i have to use the power button to turn it of.

all the freezes and crashes has been while playing games.
i have already rum memtest86+ with no errors and i have also ran a virus scan.
i have got a 1200w PSU and enough cooling.

if anybody have got a solution please write here or call me on Skype where im called: Anipsen

clean install your gfx card drivers.
also is your gfx card overclocked? if so set everything to default

other thing i can think of is that your gfx card maybe faulty.

I know you said you have good cooling, but check your temps anyway. The reason I suggest this is because you only get the crashes when gaming. Crashing only while gaming is almost always due to either high temps, too much of an OC, or insufficient power. Your PSU is plenty for that rig, and you don't have any OC's listed, so temps would be the first thing I'd check.

so now i've got one more of the: system service exception BsOD with checkcode 3b
its still this ntoskrnl.exe+6fca9 causing the problem.

but i've also got 1 BsOD called: the video memory manager encountered an unexpected fatal error.
it has dxgmms1.sys and watchdog.sys as the faulty files, and the checkcode 0x10e

I still only get BsOD's when playing games.
