Considering that im running at 1680x1050, Q6700, Seasonic 520 W.

Oh and im using NZXT Lexa (the original). Wonder if it's big enough for 6950.

Prices of both? If they're the same price, then get the 6950. It should be ever so slightly more powerful. If its $20 more for example, get the GTX 560.

Easy. 6950, then unlock shaders and clock up to 6970 speed. Best value out there at the moment.

Stock cards...6950. If your planing to oc or want a non-reference card, then its the 560.
Depends on the price as they are a mere 5% in performance (6950>560). But if your lucky enogh and get high clocks on the 560, then its the 560.

how about power consumption? and lengths of both cards? deciding which one is better for my PSU and if they will fit my case. I think 560 is about the same length as my 8800GTS at 9in correct?

Here's some tests on power consumption: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4135/n...-250-market/16

According to Newegg the 560 is about 9" in length, or at least the one I looked at. The 6950 shows to be a little over 10". Your PSU should be fine, recommended min. is 500w with 30amps on the 12v rail for the 560, I'm sure no more than that for the 6950.

From Legit Review

"Power Consumption Results: The AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB video card does pretty well here in the power test, but it came to a shock to us that it used slightly more than the 2GB version that we tested last month. Every card has different GPU core leakage, so no two GPU's are exactly identical when picked at random. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti has slightly lower power use at idle, but uses more at full load. It is interesting, though, that as you can see, both of these cards ended up next to each other in the power chart!"

6950 is faster than 560 by 6% overall. Increases to 8% at high resolution gaming.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Z...560_Ti/28.html

I would choose the 6950 hands down because the price is too close.
Yes the 560 has good OC potential, but the 6950 "may" unlock for you.

560 is $249, 6950 1gb is $259, 2gb is $279. So $10 more for 6-8% more performance is no brainer to me. I suspect that the 560 will go down to $239 is short time.

Lastly, if you can muster $329 then buy the GTX 570.
