Asus 5850 crossfire choppy gameplay in Bad Company 2

Hi,

I have just built a new rig i5-2500k 4.5GHz + Asus 5850DirectCU TOP crossfire 900/1200 and it seems my BC2 experience is a bit wonky. I do get high fps of 60 upwards at 2560x1600, changed the resolution to 1920x1200 and the gameplay still feels choppy despite high fps. I have tried 10.12 and 11 driver - no change. Is this an added AMD bonus for this particular game? I do run 260GTX SLI in other rig, it feels smoother despite lower fps.

I don't get choppy gameplay with my 5870, so definitely not something to do with ATI. Can you try taking one card out and testing with 1 5850, benchmarking, then adding a second 5850 and benchmarking? You should see a noticeable increase going from one card to 2 cards at that res.

As I said I do get high FPS, overall the gameplay feels choppy. I do not know if it people with high pings causing the lag or settings on my end. I am talking about the mutliplayer not single. Dirt 2 runs absolutely great for me with no issues whatsoever. I will test BC2 with one card when I get home.
