Found a GTX 570 on newegg today for 299.99 after 30 dollar mail in rebate and -$20 promo code (the zotac gtx 570 for anyone interested) has lifetime warranty as well! I took the plunge and bought it! It was either that or a 6950. . . but it seems the 570 at the same price was a no brainer for me.

So I hope I made a good choice and upgrade from my 4870X2.

Good times. Excited.
2 year warranty per newegg. Zotac says lifetime?

I came from ATI also, 5870/5850. I like them both.

I've enjoyed cards from both companies something like 7950gx2<9800gtx+<4890vapX<5870<480. I'm a fan of both companies but no fanboy of just one of 'em like some other crazy people around, but to each their own. You'll notice and really enjoy your upgrade, congrats!
