Help hooking up a HD 3870 to an Analog TV

Can it be done? The card has an S-Video port and so does the television. The port on the card seems to have more pins than the one on the television. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you need an s-video to break away cable, if it didn't already come with your card, you can find it at most electronics stores

Not a problem. Standard s-video is 4 pin, sometimes computer equipment has 7 or 9 pins, but the 4 basic pins are the same and will work just fine.
Plug in the cable to the card and TV and it will work.

Now video quality will be horrible if using it as a monitor.
Max resolution for an old analog tv is like 720x576 (or something like that, I think 800x600 is the lowest default most cards go to). anything larger than that is a stretched image and just looks horrible.
Now if watching TV through it, it looks fine.
