My main plans for the GPU is gaming, but I will also be watching anime, movies, videos, making gameplay videos, machinimas, and I'll probably do benchmarks for different games as well for my youtube channel. I'm going to be playing games such as S4 League, All Points Bulletin, Brink, Devil May Cry 5, and such at 1920x1080 resolution. I probably won't be overclocking much since by the time the card isn't good enough I'll probably have a new one. I've been mainly looking at the 6950, and not sure between these.

Thanks in advanced.

That is a good choice..... Yep lol. I mean no card is better than that one at that price. The 5870 is faster than the 6870, but I believe 6900 series cards are faster, and the memory will help with things like Eyefinity sets (if you ever want one)

ALSO I would go with Gigabyte personally because they have awesome coolers.

Yeah I was really set on that until I realized it's only 1GB, thats why I'm hoping gigabyte or MSI release a 2GB 6950 with their cooling.

I'm partial to nVidia cards, and EVGA, so I'd also consider this, even though it isn't quites as good of a card as the Saffire 6950:

That 560 is smaller too, if space in your case is an issue.

Though the 1 gig to 2 gig jump isn't that evident unless you are planning on using like Eyefinity....

EDIT: This is Gigabyte's 2Gig model, though as you see you lose the enhanced cooling.

Just found out this is actually 2GB 6950, I'll either go with this or the sapphire most likely, I hear sapphire unlocks better, but MSI has better cooling.

All reference are going to be the same in terms of components. (They should all unlock)

the MSI non-reference looks promising, but there doesn't seem to be a dual-bios switch, so you /might/ not be able to unlock.
