this board.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-694-_-Product the only one i see under 300 for dual SLI at full 16x. Any others? i'm trying to pick a Mobo for my build. the ud7 is nice but a little out of price range. I don't know of any others that support full 16x for under 300. Anyone have any info on this board? Why or why woudn't you buy this board? input much appreciated. thanks

do you really need dual 16x? difference between 16x 16x 8x 8x and 4x 4x is very minimal
http://hardocp.com/article/2010/08/2...16x16_vs_x4x4/
theres an article about 16x 16x vs 4x 4x

I actually need the placement of the pcie slots, not enough expansion slots on my case for the p67 pro.

arrrg this makes me want to re evaluate,.... so no games are bottlenecking even at 4x, single display, at this time anyway, so any reccomendations on a cheaper solution running at dual 8x like most boards do? Also would this board be future proofing for longer than going with an 8x dual?

I have this board and it's great for what I needed, actually the best. If you're going with multi GPU setups or a lot of other PCIe slots used, it's great. If you only have 1-2 PCIe slots needed, go for the delux or less. It doesn't have many USB 3.0 ports but for myself, I do not even need 1 and I actually disabled USB 3.0 in BIOS. If you have any other questions just ask me. I havn't seen anyone else on this forum with this mobo yet.

i cant speak for the p67 version of this board, but the previous versions p55 and x58 were friggin awesome boards. the p55 was exceptional.

that being said, if it were me looking for a p67 board with a nf200 chip, id spend the extra money and get the ud7. ive heard alot of bad things about the asus p67 boards.
