that's kinda like saying anyone with enough money can make the fastest car. you aren't taking into account the vast amounts of research and knowledge it takes to even attempt records like this.

Yes he invented voltmeter, kingpins pot,580 so i am wrong .. He didn't research anything. He tried and tried and thrown tons of money(I didn't say he didn't spent time or he did a bad job) that's how its done and if you have glassses tell your doctor to double check them "I WROTE MY THOUGHTS OVER THERE AND THANKED TO THE NEWS OWNER" and for the "troll" wish you said this to my face so i can make you eat your own balls friend have a nice day .

Ya.... and you can't get past 4.0 GHz stable with your 920 and a Heatkiller... since you claim there's nothing to it.

FYI.... you're not supposed to lap your CPU when using a Heatkiller block

I've past 4.0 ghz i had an SS on OCN with 27 hours of prime at 4.4 ghz with 1.250 btw heatkiller is lapped too so it helps you can try it too that sig rig is built like 1 year ago when people even struggle to reach 4.00 (Couldn't get it like you guys do cause parts arrive here like 5-6 months later)

edit: Also when you try to order a KINGPIN pot here it doesn't even pass the duty office unles you bribe as much as your product so you have to built your own if thats why you are asking me i have no idea about overclocking also using LN2

edit: On the sig rig under Cpu cooling it was written as not lapped and there was smiley near it changed it 2 days ago and also add shoebox rad mod but forgot to fix it .

I think i am so rude today, i should learn how to post respectful posts like 2 of you have a nice day

Don't insult what you don't understand. Until you can pour LN2 across six different pots and keep each of them within 2-3°C of their CB temperature for max clocks, you don't have much position to say anyone could do it. This has very little do with money. Equipment is only some of the battle. Skill is the rest.

I can do what you did with practically anything... For instance, a man hits a target from the longest distance... Anyone could do that with the best rifle... Forget wind, humidity, coriolis effect... It's just money...

Or as mentioned above, cars... I could win the Indy 500... all it takes is the best car. Being a good driver has nothing to do with it!

With all of that said, it turns out it was a bugged run. Epic clocking, but the score was a bit too high. His second best score (at lower clocks) was still good for 3rd place in the world. Here is his post on XS:

CPU clock seemed a bit low, however GPU clock is at 1170MHz and I thought it
was a possible score.
I felt a bit strange about the CPU-Test1 figure, but I can make the same
score again and again anytime.
I have posted the score under the same status before on the web, and nobody
ever suspected or pointed it out back then.

However, I discussed with the people engaged in SR-2 designing whom I trust,
and I found I was wrong about it.
It turned out to be a possible bug, and it was a impossible score under the
system environment.

Therefore this score should not be recognized as the record and I believe
the record must be recognized by a third party. :yepp:

But I will not give up and will try again soon.

By the way, this is the second best score I set during the try.

Duck is awesome! I met him at Pax West '10. He asked me, "Overclocker?" And I said yes, then he shook my hand. Go Duck!
