Trifire slower than Crossfire on some games?

So I recently added a third card to my sig rig.

I notice on F1 2010 and Dirt 2 that performance actually dropped!

I'd say fps dropped about 15-20% after going to trifire.

Is my CPU bottlenecking performance? Or is this a game/multi-gpu compatibility issue? I am able to close the gap by OCing my CPU to 4.2.

So far on FPS games I see an increase from 2 to 3 gpus. It seems to be just on these two games and when I use Eyefinity where I have a problem.

Any input fellas?
