ThermoChill TA120.3

Thread Starter
I was reading on http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/water...beginners.html and it said that you wouldn't be able to use 1/2" ID compression fittings. It only takes 3/8". I see that the date is in October. Is this true or have they changed?

When I looked at the specs, it said ALSO G1/4" which all my bits are. I'm confused :?

I couldn't find where they said that, but it doesn't make any sense to me.

The threading is the standard G1/4.

Skinnee reviewed it here:
http://skinneelabs.com/ta120.3.html

Some rads like the Monsta do have clearance problems with compression fittings, but the TA should work just fine with them.

Granted, the ID of a G1/4 fitting is far less than 1/2", it's still your standard 1/2" fitting for 1/2" ID tubing.

If a TA120.x is purchased from a US vendor, the port hubs will be threaded G1/4 and accomodate 1/2 ID 3/4 compression fittings. No more confusion .
