I started to overclock my Athlon II X4 630 2.8 GHz. today. I read as much information as I could find and started tinkering. I raised the FSB to 250 and lowered the multiplier from 14 to 12. I am using a stock heatsink at the moment . I managed to get up to 3.0 Ghz with these steps. Here is my CPU-Z and CoreTemp. Any suggestions on what I can do and also suggestions for an upgraded heatsink will be appreciated. This is an extra desktop that I am using while I am building my i7 870 system. I would also love to know a good heatsink / fan for the 870.
