Well...you are right man
but i still can save about 750 bucks : )

anyway..im thinking of buying 2600k for now, and when the LGA 2011 releases i'll grab one.
This way is much more better..because 980X and 1366 motherboard they are not going to get me good price when i sell them, but 2600k and 1155 mobo they will be sold easly.

I agree with you, but unfortunently i bought my 980X about 3 months ago
and the reason for that is..i was waiting for MSI to release the new GTX480 Lightning, and they was too late untill i realised i could just wait for GTX580 to release!

that's why it take me too long to decide..but if i bought my stuff these 2 weeks then i'll absolutely go for 1155 setup.

Well, if you are hell bent on selling your 1366 setup I would suggest getting a 2560x1600p monitor with the savings. Your monster rig will not be put to use without a high rez monitor like that. It will last for years and give you great picture quality.

Thanks guys, still waiting for more opinions!

i have to decide fast, because ASUS Maximus IV Extreme is out of stock from Newegg, but they say ETA: 01/29/2011
so i have to decide right now, because im pretty sure the motherboard will sell out fast.

Anyway i already know my final option..but im waiting for someone to agree with me!

I agree with you. Sell the i7-980X and get as much back as you can before it gets harder to sell.
