But even if they do include one key to get to the menu as and option(and they just might), the fact is that PC players are used to that "Excel" type of menu with tons and tons of info. I'd go so far as to say we like it rather than scrolling through a bunch of menus full of info we wish were on one or two screens. We sit close to the screen and can see all this very well. I think that is the other "big gripe".
In the end I hope you are right and they wont leave us hanging in that department.
I guess I can see that being a problem but for me it would never be like that... I guess I'm just not waist deep into PC gaming like most people here. Yeah I play on my 360 much more than my PC, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good game on my PC. The latest one that I found real joy in was Alien Swarm. As far as the information presentation, I've always been a fan of the the simplistic approach that they are taking with Skyrim.
Personally, I feel like the 'big gripe' you guys have is fairly niche in the grand scheme of what everybody wants... but that being said I'm sure there will be plenty of mods to cater to everybody's needs if that isn't how it is in the game by default.
I just finished catching up on all of the released information about Skyrim, and I cannot wait for this game. Simply CANNOT. Initially, I was very unhappy knowing that it's unlikely co-op will make an appearance in Skyrim, but after going through the information, I am generally okay with it. I'd still love to see it get in, but if it didn't I'll know those resources went to something that was meaningful at least to enhance the immersion and depth the game produces.Edited by Madman340 - 1/30/11 at 12:03am
