Somebody on this forum with that batch is at 5.1GHz with 1.45v. Extremely impressive.

I have a L042A969 and it doesn't seem that great, I have a L040B305 that seems to be slightly better. I don't know how much faith to put in any of these batch numbers.

I could just have a bad chip or I don't really know what I am doing, maybe a combo of both. Could you post your settings if you do get to 5ghz and set up for daily use? I can get into windows at up to 5.2ghz but in no way stable for anything. I have a Megahalems with 2 noctua fans for cooling but maybe not enough for 5ghz daily use anyway.

I think most (if not all) 2600ks can hit 5GHz.

Mine can't, not stable anyway. Tried 1.52v lol. Didn't dare to go higher.

It seems like it would take a lot of voltage for me to hit 5ghz stable too. I am at 4.6ghz at 1.308v under load but needs a lot to hit 5ghz, stable I don't know what it would take and I don't have the cooling to find out I don't think.
