I agree whole heatedly.

wait what? No dead wrong.
The PS3 version looks exactly the same as the 360
. Exact. Not just a little. Exact even performance wise.
In fact, PS3 is the way to go because you get much better surround sound, 1 disk, and whole
free game that does alot to back the story.
As for which version to get PC vs PS3, if you read the above and look at the comparison - hell the difference still isn't even that big. Your "missing a whole layer of detail" is false. The most you get is better resolution, increased AA, and somewhat better shadows (arguable in many screenshots). That's not a whole layer of detail by a long shot. A whole layer of detail would be... Fallout 3 where everything is completely drawn back in detail. Res and AA are standard when it comes to ports - they dont need mentioning.
There might be a difference between the PC and console version - but its nothing
in comparison to other games. You're not missing out on anything if you go to console for this game. Absolutely nothing just like Mass Effect 2.
I've heard alot of problems with the online of PC as well so the PS3 wins in that category easily. Except, one might not even want to consider the online at all. I wouldn't.
Whichever you chose - you choose. The difference is minimal and in the end the experience is the same. I chose PS3 because I don't like dealing with the PC anymore. I've grown tired of problems with ATi and constant other buggy problems with the games. Not saying that Dead Space 2 is one of them though.
The controller and keyboard/mouse is an opinionative thing when it comes to these games. IMO - controller is the best for Dead Space 2 because it's native to it and it just works. You're not going to be sniping down pinpoint-pixel-to-pixel accuracy here. In fact none of the guns in the game are designed for accuracy except maybe the seeker but even that has a giant hit area.Edited by OmegaNemesis28 - 1/30/11 at 8:19pm
