EA has a bad track record when it comes to supporting PC and PC titles. Dead Space had a lot of bugs and still does because EA never decided to patch it, it looks like DS2 also has problems and who knows if EA is going to even acknowledge them let alone fix them.

I would go PS3 or wait a year and get it off steam for half price. PS3 will also give you access to the DLC something that isn't coming to the PC. The only draw pack is visuals, PC just blow's PS3 and 360 away, It might be my older LG 720p tv or the HDMI I am using but my xbox 360 looks horrible.

I can't aim for **** with a controller
I tried it with my Logitech Dual Action controller, it works nicely but I just can't aim with it... Aim assist is grayed out in the options menu.

Clearly you haven't seen the comparison pics in the official DS2 thread, the PS3 looks worse than the 360 version. Which in turn is missing a whole layer of detail compared to the PC.

Probably. I owned Dead Space for my PS3 and almost beat it, then just picked it up for PC during the Steam winter sale and I'm hating the controls. Not sure if the controls are better for Dead Space 2, but I would opt for it on PS3 if you want to get it now. I'm probably getting it on PC though since by the time I beat DS on the PC it'll be cheaper lol.

windows 32 or 64bit?

if 64 then dont even think of trying the drivers for the dualshock. Working ones simply don't exist.

This. A key pad like the two mentioned above makes any pc game much easier than having an Xbox controller. I'll couple this with a razer mouse, logitech mouse, or Novint Falcon.

wait what? No dead wrong.
The PS3 version looks exactly the same as the 360. Exact. Not just a little. Exact even performance wise.
In fact, PS3 is the way to go because you get much better surround sound, 1 disk, and whole free game that does alot to back the story.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...ace-off?page=1

As for which version to get PC vs PS3, if you read the above and look at the comparison - hell the difference still isn't even that big. Your "missing a whole layer of detail" is false. The most you get is better resolution, increased AA, and somewhat better shadows (arguable in many screenshots). That's not a whole layer of detail by a long shot. A whole layer of detail would be... Fallout 3 where everything is completely drawn back in detail. Res and AA are standard when it comes to ports - they dont need mentioning.
There might be a difference between the PC and console version - but its nothing in comparison to other games. You're not missing out on anything if you go to console for this game. Absolutely nothing just like Mass Effect 2.

I've heard alot of problems with the online of PC as well so the PS3 wins in that category easily. Except, one might not even want to consider the online at all. I wouldn't.

Whichever you chose - you choose. The difference is minimal and in the end the experience is the same. I chose PS3 because I don't like dealing with the PC anymore. I've grown tired of problems with ATi and constant other buggy problems with the games. Not saying that Dead Space 2 is one of them though.
The controller and keyboard/mouse is an opinionative thing when it comes to these games. IMO - controller is the best for Dead Space 2 because it's native to it and it just works. You're not going to be sniping down pinpoint-pixel-to-pixel accuracy here. In fact none of the guns in the game are designed for accuracy except maybe the seeker but even that has a giant hit area.
