My hands sweat like crazy though. Without that the mouse would be covered in sweat in 10mins. That's not even from intense gaming or anything. Just normal web browsing or whatever. What's bad is on the smoother side of the mousepad (rocketfish speed side) my fingers sweat and it gets on the mousepad. Then the mouse moves over the sweat and stops tracking . The control side is better about that though.
thats a cool idea (no pun intended) i must emulate.

Like your body sweats while running outside in 40F weather, hands sweat while moving around the mouse pad a lot and nerves generating heat in intense games. I surely don't want to play in a really cold room to try to prevent that, which can also have a negative effect by limiting the feel and sensation I have with my mouse. As I mentioned already, some (and likely many) people sweat easier than others, that's just genetics. One of my gaming friends has Hyperhidrosis, plays in a cold room and still has to wipe his hands every 5 minutes.

if you keep your hands clean (not greasy) you won't have a problem. unless you maybe sweat alot it may possibly be an issue.

If you are playing on higher level, there is nothing worse than cold hands.

I disagree. In most cases, what people refer to isnt sweat. Our skin tend to leave "prints" on glossy surfaces more, than lets say finish that is used on G5.

^Yup. And sweat composition and mechanisms vary from person to person. Just read the wikipedia article and get educated a little. We all have different acclimations to our environement, the minerals in our body, stress sources, etc.

I have OCD when it comes to keeping my hands clean. I never go on my pc without washing my hands first. Even with all that, my razer mice still somehow collect finger gunk on the plastic sides. Black Deathadder to be delivered on Thursday hurray.

Hyperhidrosis is the scientific term for excessive sweating. This website contains a guide on How To Sweat Less. I hope you find it useful
