Nvidia 3D..?

so i know this is goin to be a dumb question lol but if i get a graphic card that can do 3d and have a nvidia 3d kit do i have to have a 3d monitior or jus a 120hz monitor and i have a ati 5850 want to upgrade to nvidia card like a 560 ti please help

all you need is a nice gpu because your fps will be cut in half because it projects two images you will also need the 3d kit and a 120hz screen, no 3d screen required

nvidia 3d ready monitor will be needed as some use polarized 3d
and when i say nvidia 3d ready, thats most of the 120hz monitors with exception pf zalman ones.

to use the nvidia 3d vision kit you mmust have an nvidia card and have a 120hz monitor that supports 120hz input. many 120hz monitors only accept 60hz inputs and then upmix it to 120hz.

you must use one of the mmonitors that is listed here (for now):

there is a way to get 3d on the ATI cards...

but it isn't that supported... and from what i have seen... it doesn't work as well....

when i say not supported... alot of games don't work with it.....

where the nvidia 3d visions works perfectly....

plus there is nvidia 3dvision ready games....

there is no completely compatible ATI 3d game as of yet
