I dont use passwords either for my laptop, well sorta. I use a USB key lock that locks the bios, a good firewall, and all my personal data is on an external HDD that uses TrueCrypt.

Does the client care if the data on the drive is lost since they received it from someone else? If not, then I would perform a fresh install (if possible). If not, the master boot record (mbr) eraser should do the trick, which will allow you to do a clean install. thumb.gif Either way, glad you got the BIOS password wiped.
