Access denied - deleting temp files (solved)

Thread Starter
I am trying to slipstream SP1 into a Windows 7 Ultimate ISO using the most recent RT7 lite. The integration of SP1 failed, and left a gigantic load of files in \user\appdata\local\temp\RT_Mount\ even though I specified an alternate drive as the source.....

I am working in an admin account, and when I attempt to delete the files I receive a message saying I will need to provide approval as admin. Then it simply says access denied, or that the file is open in another process.

What I have tried:

- Closing all non necessary processes
- Verified (Process monitor) that no process is accessing the path
- Removing my antivirus
- Deleting from command line
- Deleting from safe mode
- Deleting on reboot using eraser
- Unlocker programs which say the files are not locked

Nothing worked, and I have no space on my system drive now. Any help appreciated.

(edit) Solution -

I posted too hastily, I was in a hurry to get this done before going to a BBQ (hey it's 65f in Atlanta)

If anyone comes across this, the WIM is still mounted and needs to be unmounted using the following command in a console window (parameters for my specific instance, obviously):

dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:%temp%\rt_mount /discard
