I mean if Microsoft have paid so much for the Xbox early demo, why didn’t they also give the demo to PC, I mean crysis is more known on the pc than the Xbox and it would have shown their "Renewed commitment to PC Games" (That why there is still no Fable 3 For Xbox) It just shows that Microsoft don’t care, I know, nothing new but still annoying!
My opinion on that is, MS is trying to encourage gaming enthusiasts, even if the xbox doesn't meet the maximum expectations of gamers....a console has a place in your home in one fashion or another. As demos, betas, and exclusives become more common on consoles than PC, to me it's a psychological tactic to make non-owners of the Xbox the odd man out......kinda like what Apple does with iphones, ipads and macbooks....your not hip if you don't have one.
Ask yourself this. How many people out there actually went out to purchase a console just to play a specific game first or at all? Halo? Cod? All profits, from hardware to software. Maybe they're hoping Crysis will be the same...although, I'm not seeing as much commercial hype over this game as Halo or Cod series...so I could be way off.
Anyway, I really hope a demo will be available for the PC. I played to level/rank 7 and could take it no more. The game blows and I'm hoping it will be better on the PC just as BFBC2 is terrible on the xbox, but supreme on a PC.Edited by dedmonwakin - 1/31/11 at 10:45am
