[BBC]Sony scores against PlayStation 3 hacker - Page 9

This is a good move on sony's part, if you think on it. Any and all future incursions with ps3 hacking will now be blamed on him.

I dont think sony is doing this to make a profit, as he will never willingly pay it up or even be able to, but more to make a martyr out of him to show as an example to future problem child's.

I can care less either way, just a thought though

Pfffffffffffffffffffff
Why would they waste the effort with this under the guise of piracy?
Why waste the effort with rolling out new 'security patches'?

Fear of piracy.
Fear of piracy = less revenue.
Less revenue = profit related.

Lol... I'd hand them over my computer. That sounds about fair. Don't blame me if nothing's in it.

Just think though, this generation of consoles is nearing its end. If anything it would sell more ps3's now because of the hack.

After all you cant hack yourself a new ps3, but if so, then prove it lol

This is how I feel. It's one thing to forfeit something to a law enforcement agency and something entirely different so forfeit it to a for profit corporation.
