Gtx 560

Thread Starter
IS the GTX 560 a good buy? Will you see a better performance boost than the GTX 400 series? Is it worth the price? Is it a good replacement from the GTX 460 considering price, performance, etc? Should you just get a more higher-end card instead?

depends on how much money you have mate
560 is one of the best if not the best price/perfomance ratio cards out there.

Lets put it this way.

Think for a minute that the GTX480 was listed at $500 or more when it was released. Now, lets look at the GTX 560, which is roughly half the price, uses nearly 100watts less power, and at 900mhz, competes with the 480.

Yeah, I'd say it's a bargain at $250.

Nah I am sure its a great card, but if you have $320 I would buy the 570 and if you have $500, I would buy either 2x560s or a 580, if you have $640 2x570s and finally $998 2x580s.

Also buy carefully.
I see you cant SLI, so.. if you buy now you may not be able to sell and buy one later when needed, so make sure you invest in a good card btw.
