The Sims Resource and Mod The Sims have great free mods (some of TSRs are subscriber only, worth it if you play a lot)

Didn't even know the sims had that many expansions for the third one. Haven't played it since the first one came out however long ago.

I was going to get that..But when that releases, I'll be playing Rift.

looks like I was to late but the sims 3 is the buggest piece of **** that far into release I've seen.

Gf is a serious sims 3 player and I have never seen a game company have that many game breaking bugs either left in after a year (adventures) or counted on people finding another buggy work around (happyness)

I have not played Sims 3 in a while, but I was addicted to it right when it came out. You are not stuck with one family. You can change to a different family, but it's different doing it than with Sims 2. I have done it so it is possible.


Here is the last answer on a yahoo question concerning this:

"You can, it's just a bit different than it was in the previous games.

To select/play a different family, you have to go to "Edit Neighborhood" from the main menu, then you will be in neighborhood view, and you can move families around and change the main one, etc."
