Power supply fan not spinning... - Page 2

This or that - but I think the PSU fan should always be running, sensor or no sensor. Fans are a cheap swapout, or really, a new PSU is not that expensive these days.

1. Set PSU under load. ie. games, benches, stress tests(even all at the same time)
2. If fan spins your fine, if not change PSU.
3. Test your new PSU and check if that fan spins.

Alright, i'll get him to play a game for awhile and check on it again, feels cool to the touch with the system idleing.

In the link he provided it says "Fan temp control" in the name of the PSU...

It might not be a hybrid silent fan control unit by seasonic but I believe it is still temp controlled.
