Driver help

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

Recently upgraded to windows 7. All was going well with install, finished, installed some third party apps and shut down. Now when I boot it goes to bios but just keeps power cycling. Should I update BIOS? Plus I also need utilities and drivers for Windows 7 64bit.

I thought it may be the install, but when I replaced the harddrive with the old one (untouched from earlier with XP and working fine) it had the same problems.

Help!!

This sounds like a problem with the hardware - like perhaps the motherboard. I mean, does it even get a chance to attempt loading Windows?

If you're getting to a point where you are saying, "Ok, now I can get into the BIOS", then the board still hasn't had a chance to load Windows yet. I mean, it sounds like you're referring to some kind of USB controller.

I mean, it's not possible to get into the BIOS once Windows begins loading.
