Really good deal tbh.

Or a 5850, or a 460 twin frozr or direct top.

I would still go with the 6870 tho.

When the 6xxx series comes out will the 5xxx series drop in price drastically? should i just wait till that comes out instead then?
I have a 5870 and it runs my games like a dream at max settings. The 6 series is already out and the prices have dropped. Although the 5 series will be getting discontinued. That's probably when they release the 7xxx series though?

Although with a 37" telly the 5870 might struggle at max settings.

Yea well now that ive found a 6870 for under 200$ with rebate i think im pretty set on that, what company is most reliable for the 6870's?.. Would you recommend a smaller TV then? Cause im pretty keen on playing with max settings. Thanks Mod for the welcome too Im sure ill like it here.

TV/monitor size doesn't matter, pixel count is what matters.

As for a 22" monitor it would be 1680x1050 (I think) or 1080p. For the 37" TV, could be 720p, I don't remember seeing many 1080p 37" TVs.

6870 would do just fine for everything.

the 6xxx is already out as explained in my post, i would suggest the 6850 for your budget, iceblade backed my decision.

The sapphire is $200 after rebate, $220 regular for 6870.
