Damn, qTAP, you beat me to it.

TheRockMonsi, I sure did state that out of context.

Again, it's personal preference. 120hz + anything above 1080p = pricey. If you have the coin, you'll find something you're happy with.
I'm not too worried about the coin part at the moment...I just can't find any 1920x1200 monitors at 120hz. I would like to compare a few if they were out there.

I guess you didn't read the title in it's entirety either...
Nope, you are correct. Missed that part. You are a hero among men. Congrats.

Yea I got new cards on the way. 2 6950's. I hear they scale well but we will see. Just at 75hz not 120hz.

I don't think they exist unfortunately. I'm looking too, and I'm finding monitors with higher resolutions than 1080p and with refresh rates as high as 85hz, but none @ 120hz.

Read up on this thread.

The clone screen testing method in your linked article produce skewed results. Also, I didn't see any LCD PC monitors tested against CRT in that article.

good article that properly tests 120hz monitor vs CRT
http://3dvision-blog.com/tag/crt-vs-lcd/

"testing with two displays connected to the two outputs of a video card and using a clone mode does not give accurate results "

Dude. You seriously left out a huge and important part of that quote. The full quote is "based on my previous experiences, testing with two displays connected to the two outputs of a video card and using a clone mode does not give accurate results".

He might as well have said "in my opinion". Way to leave out context to prove your point. AVSforum is a trusted source of good information, and so is that thread. Just because someone "feels" that they are doing it more properly, doesn't make it so.

In my opinion AVSforum >>> 3dvision-blog(?)

Also, if you would have read that article, it clearly states in bold that not all 120hz displays exhibit input lag. It is just a general consensus that they increase it.

At this moment in time the OP has a choice between refresh rate and resolution. I would like to know what he eventually decides on.
