The shipping costs to buy that drive from a different website would make it pointless.

the mobo only has sata 3.0gps so the 6.0gps hdd would be wasted
when I do mine (may or june ) it will be sata3 & usb3 Bulldoser

for an average user, the difference will be nill.

The 790x chipset is OLD. the 880 chipset is new.

to put it this way, i bought my motherboard in late 2008 and it was starting to be not so new, and it has the 790GX chipset in it. the 790x is even older then that.
