Are you going to bring up every 3+ week thread there is???

It's simple 1155 beats out 1366. This has been well established not only on OCN but across the net.

It's not that I don't see the benefits, nor that I can't beleive it, it's just i'd rather see some real benchmarks pertaining to GAMING to get a proper idea, than a bunch of number crunching NOT pertaining to GAMING

There have been real gaming benchmarks, your postings are more than 1 month old. I would suggest read up on all the reviews, see the benches both real world and synthetic.

Simply put unless you buy into the 6 core gulftowns 1155 is the way to go. With the only exception being that you do some very specialized work which takes advantage of the tripple channel memory interface which 1366 supports.

I'm the rube who thought he could buy an Intel "futureproof" system. I'm the man who prays AMD does something that mattrers with Bulldozer so I can get away from this company who sees customers as dollars and not people.

I also love to gloat, especially about Sandy Bridge Fail.

take it from somebody that still owns and uses a 775, 1366 and 1155 system, 1366 golden chips are roughly equal to your average run of the mill 1155 chip and much cooler running as well.

How can you not agree that a cooler running, higher overclocking chip is a fail? As for the SATA issue it really has not affected me at all and they are all ready shipping B3 stepping boards, so in all actuality your point is moot.

1366 was great for the dual 16x slots and better CPUs...

Now, with SB 1155, the dual 8x PCI-E slots are fed by the CPU itself...and they're pretty good. Also, SB being cheap and overclocking great, 1366 is just eclipsed...it's not bad, it's just that it's yesterday...

1155 is the best, cheapest high-end gaming platform ever!
