Moving on as the 1336 users do what they always do - derail.

I reported for OT - thread should get cleaned up I apologize for anyone wanting to see a single 1366 step up, sadly they've resorted old tactics.

Do you really want me to continue posting the worthless things you have said in the past?

I'm not upgrading my rig anytime soon, nor do I have a need to buy and sell anything from the marketplace here on OCN, so quit implying that the sole reason I created the SB thread was to get rep points. Heck, I won't be getting a new GPU until Kepler comes out either, my 470 suits my needs nicely.

Let's focus on your trolling issues instead, shall we?

You made this thread for one purpose only and that is to prove that your 2500k chip is faster than current 9xx chips.

Yes, SB is faster than i7-9xx - clock for clock is only slightly faster.

SB overclocks higher than i7-9xx too, since they hit a wall @ 4.2 on air.

This has already been established.

There you happy now?

What issues? You understand by definition you're trolling for responses at this very moment?

Resorting to personal attacks and name calling is a sure sign of maturity, please continue.

Why are you so mad? Look at the first few responses, then look at yours and the other i7-9x0 users, whose trolling?

Wow!

Balla, I am not going to "hating" on You. On - anyone. How can I - I only have +1 Rep! But, I think I will copy and paste this on every single SB vs 1366 thread that feels as this one does ( I will be busy):

STOP adding emotion to Your DIY Terminators!

Look - every day now, this 1 year student of rig building has been trying to get a grip on the the real world differences and future pro/cons of going SB or 1366. [Note I do not have a rig yet - I'm not upgrading!] I even have a wishlist of both, 1 click away from an interesting weekend. Yet, every time I look, someone is getting hated on. Does the person deserve it? Perhaps! But, we are OCN! There should be a kids table and an adults table for some of these discussions, because I am all but ready at this point and Geek Squad me up an E-machine-a-dud.

Yes - This is off the beaten thread topic. But, I will ask it yet again:

Cost is the same, 1366 to 1155 (for me). Want to have some future proofing. IB is supposed to be Trip Channel. Do I stay with the 1366 (slightly less overclock potential / clock for clock performance) or jump to Dual Channel SB (with 4.7 on air knocking).

But, most of all, please remember that Google Search results OCN more than any other PC User Information Forum, and if You are turning off this "enrolled student", imagine the deserved embarrassment You should feel as the complete noob or mother of 2 tries to get a direct, unbiased grasp of the market today.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, can we get down to the brass tax?

Thanks, I'm going to ignore the OT from some of the bad apples and just continue on waiting for a thread clean up.

Just run the cpu based tests only, no real need to do the gpu based ones.
