Going to revert to 1792 drivers today for a test. I've noticed that whilst racing in GRID, I'm getting speaker sound going quiet & muffled every so often. It didn't happen with 1792.

Is there anywhere else I can download the driver? When I follow the link I get:

500 - Internal Server Error

after waiting 15 seconds to be able to download

If it's hotfile, try refreshing on that page. It should work, it's happened to me several times and I just refresh it and the dl queue continues.

I installed this lad's drivers, was using Unified's latest CMedia with GX driver. Sounds clearer, but i'm dismissing it as placebo.

Think i'll uninstall/clean with drive sweeper and try the Unified driver again and see if anything changes. Some actual documentation about the changes would be nice.

Since I just got my STX, I'll use stock drives for a few months and then try these out..

This drivers installed ok on my secondary rig for the Xonar D1 ,but something strange happened in 2 W7 succesive installations.

First installation made over some Creative and Asus driver leftovers was making the LFE slider to work finally with Foobar and ASIO ,then ,when i ve installed them on a clean W7 installation that thing was again behaving like a useless slider. This issue is driving me nuts.Only one driver managed to make that work and that under XP.

Another annoying thing is that this Xonars do not upload 2 channel to fill all channels like CMSS does on my X-Fi.

Asus sounds cards are way more unfinished than Creative ones and i m not sure Daniel_K will be able to help them.Asus should of did something to add more features or make the included features work.

Good hardware overall ,but very poor software support.

I never though that the disperated and rude thread i ve created over there will be linked on such a big forum like this smile.gif I thought nobody reads Creative forums anymore smile.gif

Bump.

I need to know what´s the advantage of these Daniel K drivers for my HT Omega Claro Plus. And, why does this WHQL does not appear in the official HT Omega site?
