NFS HP 2010 could've been more optimized :(

No AA option, was it too hard to implement it? i know you can enable it through CCC but still...

huge FPS drop..FPS can suddenly go from a smooth 50-55FPS to a low ~20 in some levels

so again, better optimization would've been great frown.gif

Hay, go here and download patch 1 and 2, and see if that sorts some of your FPS issues.

Plus if you have the latest ATI drivers, you can manually force AA through the ATI control panel.

Also if you want AA download the latest Nvidia drivers, so you can force it though the control panel.

That game was so bad, I couldn't care about the total neglect of the PC excluding porting to it and selling it. Arcade racing at it worst.

/opinion.

Yeah, it's known to have some bad issues with PC's. Some people with higher specs are getting the same FPS as people with lower spec systems. I'd just turn down those settings and play the game at an above 60FPS. Lower your res one notch?

I had thought about getting this game, but after reading various opinions over the last few months, I'm glad that I didn't get it. I bought the original Hot Pursuit when it came out in 1998, and then High Stakes shortly after it came out. Those two were great. The new one did not live up to the original it appears. I suppose the golden years of Need for Speed are gone forever.
