I don't normally post on here but somehow I had to share my experience because a similar scenario happened to me.
Was on 1.1v at 910/2100 and it passed furmark/occt and when I finally tried unigine my system just went off by itself. When tried to reboot, nothing happens. I took everything off to be safe and re-assembled all the components but the system still refuse to boot. I swear I tried at least 10 times to boot it up and I gave up eventually. I swapped my old card back in and my system was back on.
I brought my card to a local distributor the next day for testing it and god I am lucky
I waited at the lounge while they tested my card to see what went wrong and the technician reappeared after a good 20mins and handed me a new card because he told me when he tried to boot my card up it went up in flames and now after seeing this thread.. I think I was pretty lucky it didn't went boom on me when I tried to boot it from my home. * I would probably have alot to explain to the distributor if that happend *
Since then I have decided to just stick to my stock 570 just so I don't have it die on me again or worst goes up in flame.
Btw, it was a MSI 570 OC Edition Twin Froz and no the power limiter wasn't disabled. Nothing was.Edited by mistkron - 2/3/11 at 12:48pm
