Thank you all very much for your help.

my monitor has a vga too. its not really a monitor though, just a very high end 22inch TV screen.

a gtx460 would be an excellent deal, i upgrade RAM and cases often, but cpus and graphics cards are just things i'm getting used to.

oh andif it helps. It will only be medium gaming. Oblivion, garrys mod and UT3. if it holds up that well, maybe some CoD and BFBC2 thrown in..

I have a GTS450 (Check sigrig) and i have 2 18.5" monitors at 1366x768. I can run a lot of games at high settings. I got my KFA2 GTS450 for £105 from ebuyer. PM me with any questions about it!
