I love my blackline ram.

I <3 my Blacklines. Mine are only 7-9-7-24 but they still work excellently!

I'm not arguing. All I am doing is pointing out that what you said can easily be interpreted as "You'd be better off asking that question in the New Members forum". That is actually how I interpreted it. So what do you suppose the chances are that he interpreted it (or would interpret it) the same way?

Look, I have no intention here to start some kind of fight or to make this personal. All I am doing is making sure Cigknisanib understands that we are not allowed to ask questions in the New Members forum because I interpreted your post as a recommendation that he ask his question there instead of here in this thread.

So if you want to take offense to this, then I apologize. But I have absolutely NO intention to offend you or to insult you or anything like that.

It's cool. I'm sure he had already understood what you're trying to say, considering he read this thread. Let's go straight back to topic now.

I'm not going to assume anything since he's logged off and since he has only made one post.

Lulz. Wow....The blacklines are still a great kit. I'd snatch those up if I were you. I have always used Mushkin until I got these Super Talent Elpida Hypers. And to be honest, my Mushkin Redlines I brought to 2000mhz with 7-8-7-24 1T whereas I run these Super Talents at Stock and I get BSOD's. Mushkin is the way to go. I am sure the blacklines will OC just as great.

Okay, just one last question. Is that price for reals? Would You venture a guess as the the CAS would be on the listed Blackline? I would really, REALLY want to get Mushkin 1600 or better with CAS6 (as in, the premier RedLine), but I am more than put off by a Lancool PC-K62 tower (Blue LEDs), Thermalright Silver Arrow (Blue Fans), and Asus P6X58D Mobo (Black n' Blue). Any thoughts on anything else? I would go Corsair XMS3 at 1600/7, but they go for $120. But this - This is Mushkin were talkin' 'bout here, and the linked ones post for $90?!

The timings for the Redlines are 6-6-5-18 with a voltage of 1.65V. The Blacklines are 6-9-7-24 with the same voltage.

I personally don't know how much if a difference in performance this amounts to, but I think that the biggest difference might be in the overall quality of the chips used as well as the overclockability. However, the Blacklines are still very good in this respect.
