Mionix Naos 5000

Hi guys im just wondering what sensor does this mouse use? And any idea of how heavy it is?

What is the lift off distance?

Ive been through alot of mice recently and i can conclude the Roccat Kone Plus is by far the best mouse i have had which broke on me. Im looking to buy another or try out the mionix naos 5000. The one thing that sets the kone apart is the extremely low lod. On my Roccat sota it was easily around about half a mm lift off distance with the settings set to very low.

The sensor of the Mionix Naos 5000 is the Avago ADNS-9500.
The wight of the Mionix Naos 5000 is around the 80G [light].

LOD is 1CD [1.2mm]

The mionix is 80 grams? LOL for a big mouse that is extremely light. I just seen also that you can adjust the lod in the software for the mionix.

I did notice that you cannot adjust angle snapping in the settings for the mionix.

It's 106g without the cable, 158g with the cable.

It's 126g without the cable. With the cable, it is estimated to be 141g with cable based on the old Roccat Kone (cable adds 15g).

The kone plus is 126g without cable not the older kone. Even so the mionix is heavier than the kone plus. I can get a kone plus for 40 pounds which is a steal. The naos shape looks very good though. The extra weight is something i could not handle. The kone plus is alittle on the heavy side for me but is comfty to hold and tracks the best ive ever had.

Also how the hell does a cable weight that much. What is it made of.

The naos is 106g without cable. How the hell does it become 158g with a cable lol.

So can anyone defo confirm to me that the naos is heavier than the kone plus?
This might be very subjective but I held both mice in my hands (not at the same time) and I would say in the without-cable-feel the Naos was lighter than the Kone [+].

The Kone [+] is definitely too heavy for me and if it wasn't it would be too chunky - might not be an issue for 100% palm grippers. Otherwise it seems to be quite flawless, especially the scroll wheel felt superb.

The Naos just feels extremely comfortable overall

Both seem to be of excellent build quality, unlike the rattly G9x with a plain horrible scroll wheel and mushy thumb buttons!

I agree kragarmendes, The Naos is far better than the Kone and lighter as well as far as I can tell.
