6950 v 560 v.....

So i recently got $300. And i'm not quite sure which part of my system i should upgrade. What do you guys think? I was going to get a 6950...but then i saw the 560. Also, i still have a lowly 19" monitor with a 1440x900 resolution, should i upgrade that? Or....should i get a qx9650 or something? OR i can get an ssd drive.

So basically, which upgrade route would i benefit from most?

SO many possibilities

You don't really need a GPU upgrade at your resolution.
Save your money for a system overhaul (i.e Sandy Bridge) and/or a bigger monitor.

Depends on what your playing. My Q6700 at 3.4 plus a 260 core 216 does quite well at 1920x1080 with AA and AF. I get +60fps in BC2 with near max settings. I use XP though, haven't jumped to 7. Might be helping my fps. BlackOps is over 100fps minimum, I've seen it spike to 200 for a second.

I vote monitor.
