He could and should be fine on an H motherboard, but do keep in mind that most motherboards that come with a H model chipset have.

Thinner PCB.
Lower quality components.
Less VRM's.
Less heatsinks.
Less PCI-E ports. Gasp.
Less Overclockability.
Less realiability.
Less... uh. of everything.

It's not really that far away from the P67 LE or M model. And you -are- going to use a videocard. I think at least a GTS 450 or even a GTX560ti would fit in that 600 pound budget of yours.

I did. He also contradicted himself in saying he was keeping and wasn't keeping his old CPU. (But I knew what he meant.) At the price he's constrained to, H67 is the best bet. There were already a couple of good suggestions for that, so I figured some light hearted commenting wouldn't hurt.
