People seriously over estimate the usage of their systems.

I guess I was trying to get 850w since all those ppl getting 1200w and 1000w for similar builds overwhelmed me hehe

I'm ashame I used to think a long time ago that buying a PSU was a waste of money and getting one that came with a case was the best deal

Not all Rosewill PSUs are bad, and in fact if you stay away from their ultra-budget series they're generally quite nice. ATNG built, most of them, with a handful of Solytech and Sirfa.

What Rosewill do you have? Newegg link?

I do not know that much about power supplies that's why I was looking at 850w since I'm going to be running my sig rig. I plan on adding all the fans to the phantom case, 1 more hdd and another video card and I thought 750w would be cutting it close. But i trust you guys more a 750w will save me a few bucks.
Have you actually measured what your system pulls under load? I pull about 400W on load, even my previous system on a socket 775 I pull about 400 on load. It's kind of hard to pull the full 750W on load. You can still test your PSU but you need a multimeter.

Most of Rosewill's supplier:
Rosewill
ATNG E186010
SolytechE223918
Wintech E178768
YoungyearE126556

Don't know if these are even any good. You can always enter the UL File Number to find out which exact manufacturer made your PSU.

If you want to save a bit of money, much lower than NewEggs price (about $20 lower) and no tax just shipping.

Sorry for double post but, here is the Rosewill PSU I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182070

Looks like it served me close to 2 years only and is still under warranty... though I rather change brand.I was thinking about it anyways.

It's a decent unit. Not fantastic, but solid. There's no huge rush, but if you want to upgrade that's fine.

You should be able to get a SeaSonic X750 for around $140. That's still the best 750W PSU around.
